Welcome to the January 2020 edition of our bi-monthly newsletter for Kiwitown Electrical customers.
Happy New Year! Hope all of our customers had an enjoyable break and got some relaxation in. We know our rural customers will have had limited time off in the holiday season, with the weather not really helping the grass to grow at the moment, praying for rain. Dave and I had some quality time off with our families, Dave caught up on some jobs around the house and we enjoyed some time with the kids and catching up with family. We look forward to working with you again this year, bring on 2020!

Now that you’ve pulled all the xmas lights down and fortunately The Lines Company gave you a Christmas credit so you can afford that power bill, its time to think about ways to light your outdoors and gardens.
Creating an outdoor room to enjoy the peace of your garden at night is on many wish lists. Maybe it’s more about entertaining, or to be able to use your property at night just as you do during day. Lights around the pool mean night time swimming is a lot safer too.
There are safety aspects, ensuring you and your visitors can get around the garden without tripping over obstacles, falling down steps or not knowing what is ahead.
It could be a long dark driveway, or that letterbox that always gets backed into. Having this lit up at night would make it a lot easier for Nana to visit.
Perhaps you just love looking out at your garden day and night.
In the last decade outdoor lighting has been significantly improved with the use of energy efficient LED, meaning lower power costs and the reduced impact on the environment.
We now have many options for lighting outdoors. Movement sensored wall mounted lighting to sophisticated outdoor lighting control system offering a security component. If you’re heading down the electrical landscaping route, then creating areas to highlight features or paths in the garden is able to be automatic and a increase security aspect.

We were really pleased to be involved in this community project with Project Kiwiana installing the BBQ at the Jim Barker memorial park. This playground is a real asset to the community, and we're pleased to donate our services to add more value to the space. Get down and have a BBQ in the playground!
